
Educational objectives and introduction
Sports Science major is a systematic and scientific study for the sports, marine leisure, recreation, and dance that modern society demands as the social interest in the health increases in the 21st century and the leisure culture for improving the life quality increases as well. In addition, the purpose of the major of sports science is to cultivate experts in sports sciences that combine advanced theories and practical skills. In other words, the sports science major aims to educate leaders who can direct, manage and operate exercise and sports fields in order to create new sports science and culture in terms of implementing welfare society.

Curriculum offers a variety of subjects to foster the knowledge of supervising sporting events through the major management of athletic, sports & leisure research and theory and practical research. Theory-based courses help students gain the knowledge, culture, and expertise they need to become experts in their field. Theory-based subjects study Physical Education, Sports Information, Exercise, Sports & Leisure Leadership, Exercise, Sports & Leisure Research Management, Sports Physiology, Leisure Management, Sociology of Health and Fitness.
- Career after graduation
Graduates work as health managers and instructors at health club centers, or manage a variety of health programs at sports professionals and related government agencies. Graduates can also be professional instructors in the fields of athletic, sports & leisure studies, and those who are engaged in sports marketing and sports management may serve as professional managers in large corporations or large sports centers.
